Spanish IT company 'Barcelogic' put their software through its final paces in Barcelona on Thursday, ahead of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 group stage draw on December 1. While 32 teams have earned the right to play next year on football's biggest stage, the selection process for the group stage draw can be a tricky business as many of the top teams must remain separated according to 'seeding... Еще' and geography. CEO of Barcelogic Robert Nieuwenhuis explained that despite this, his company's systems will be ready to make sure the draw goes right for the kick-off, ensuring that the «programme was behaving correctly» in all situations. Nieuwenhuis explained: «what it does is it is a random draw assistant. Which means that while the draw progresses, sometimes the team that comes out the pot cannot be placed in its group, apparently, because otherwise the draw could not be completed.» The FIFA World Cup Final group stages draw will take place on Friday December 1.
