Spain: Ballot holders should be 'jailed' — nationalists rally in Barcelona as referendum looms

Around 50 people gathered outside the Catalan government headquarters in Barcelona, Thursday, to protest against the Catalan independence referendum. «Why should we be here today? To say to these people that we want to live in peace, that Catalonia is Spain,» said one of the anti-referendum protesters continuing, «If someone takes a ballot to the street, then that person should go to jail and... Еще that is it, no more jokes». The protesters, chanted slogans such as «Catalonia is Spain» and «Spain united will never be defeated» while waving red and yellow Spanish flags. The protest went peacefully; no incidents were reported.
