Dozens of anti-Catalan independence and far-right activists staged a rally in front of the 'Radio Catalunya' headquarters in Barcelona, Wednesday, to protest the radio's 'incitement' of the Catalan population ahead of the upcoming vote. Draped in Spanish flags, protesters gathered at 12:00 local time (10:00 GMT) in front of Radio Catalunya's headquarters, accusing it of «inciting hate and... Еще division». One of the protesters, Frederico Martinez, called the Catalan government a «mafia,» adding that it «should be dismantled because there are people here that are suffering from that». The protesters carried banners reading «corporation = manipulation» and chanted slogans such as «you are not a journalist, you are a terrorist.» Catalan citizens will vote in an upcoming historic independence referendum on October 1, in a ballot that has been deemed «illegal» by the Spanish government. The Constitutional Court has suspended the Catalan referendum law, following an appeal from the Spanish government. It will be suspended until the court reaches a decision.
