Around 200 Catalan mayors headed to Brussels on Tuesday in order to explain the Catalan crisis «first-hand» to EU officials and show their support for ousted leader Carles Puigdemont. Miquel Buch Mayor of Premia de Mar and President of the association «Catalana de Municipis» (ACM), and Neu Lloveras, the Mayor of Vilanova and President of the association «Municipis per la Independencia» (AMI... Еще), were among those travelling. The delegation will gather at 1pm at the Schuman roundabout, outside the Berlaymont building, which is home to the European Commission. Carles Puigdemont and four former ministers are currently on bail and due to appear at a Belgian court on November 17 to hear Spain's case for their extradition. Belgium has 60 days to decide whether to send them back to Spain, under the rules of the European arrest warrant system.
