South Korea: Protests as North Korean delegation arrive for closing ceremony

The North Korean delegation, led by the controversial Vice-Chairman of the Worker's Party Central Committee General Kim Yong-chol, were met with protesters on Sunday while en route to the Olympic Closing ceremony in Pyeongchang. Protesters can be seen carrying placards, banners, and waving flags of the United States and South Korea as they attempted to block the North Korean motorcade. The... Еще footage also shows Kim Yong-chol leading the delegation. 72-year-old Kim Yong-chol is a controversial figure in South Korea as many blame him for the sinking of the ROKS Cheonan in 2010, in which 46 South Korean sailors died when their ship sank after being struck by a torpedo. The exact origin of the torpedo as well as who fired it remains disputed.
