South Korea: Olympic events postponed as strong winds tear through Pyeongchang

A number of Olympic events were postponed or rescheduled on Wednesday, after strong winds tore through Pyeongchang. Several temporary structures, which had been set up for the Olympic Games, were damaged. People were also seen trudging with their backs to the wind. According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, winds have been blowing at seven metres per second (15.65 miles per hour... Еще). Pyeongchang is hosting the 23rd Winter Olympic Games from February 9 to February 25. Around 3,000 athletes from 93 countries are competing.
