South Korea: First openly gay US medalist Rippon says Olympics gave him 'a louder voice'

Team USA's Adam Rippon said at a press conference in PyeongChang on Tuesday: «I didn't get where I am for being gay, I got here for working really hard.» He has made history by becoming the first assumedly gay man hailing from the US to win a medal in a Winter Olympics, when he won the bronze for free skating.
