South Africa: 'We are ready to invite President Trump to Moscow' — Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow is ready to invite US President Donald Trump to Russia, speaking in Johannesburg on Friday, after the three-day BRICS summit. “He [President Trump] has already had such an invitation, I have told him about it. I'm ready to come to Washington. But I repeat again, only if the right conditions for work are created,” the Russian leader said. The... Еще president also said that the US’ attempts to use the dollar as a means of putting pressure on Russia and other nations is a strategic mistake, stressing that “they [the US] undermine confidence in the dollar.» “The dollar, as a reserve currency, becomes a problem. We are not the only ones who talk about it,” he added. Putin and Trump have met face-to-face on three occasions. Their last meeting took place in Helsinki on July 16. The 10th annual BRICS meeting is taking place in Johannesburg on July 25-27, where the heads of state or government of the five member states (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) are meeting to discuss cooperation in political and socio-economic affairs.
