South Africa: Clicks pharmacy in Queenstown damaged in protests against 'racist' ad

The Clicks pharmacy building was seen damaged in anti-racism protests sparked by a hair product advertisement, Queenstown, Monday. The shampoo advertisement on the Clicks' website had photos of different hair types with a black woman's hair type being described as «dry and damaged» and a white woman's one as «fine and flat.» The opposition Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party on Monday called for demonstrations considering the advertisement «racist.»
