Snow joke! Extreme swimmer dives 26m under Baikal ice in nothing but trunks

Born and bred in Irkutsk, extreme swimmer Andrei Bugai dived to a depth of 26 metres (85 feet) under the thick ice of Lake Baikal on January 3, sporting nothing but his swimming trunks. Bugai performed the stunt at the first ‘Winter on Baikal’ swimming festival, which ran from January 3-8. This is the first time the extreme swimmer has performed such a daring feat, but he has already developed... Еще a reputation as one of the region’s best ‘walruses,’ a colloquial Russian term for people who swim in freezing water. With plans to swim deeper for longer, expect more chilling stunts to come from this walrus in the future.
