Slovenia: Cyclists 'override' Ljubljana in anti-govt coronavirus protest

A large group of cyclists took to the streets of Ljubljana on Friday to protest against the government and its handling of the coronavirus crisis. Demonstrators gathered following reports in the local media over allegations of bribery and corruption in the purchase of face masks and ventilators. Elections were held in Slovenia last month which saw a new centre-right government replace the... Еще previous centre-left administration which resigned. Like most countries, Slovenia imposed a strict lockdown in mid-March when the number of COVID-19 cases began increasing. So far, around 1,500 people have been infected with the virus in the country and 93 have died with the virus.
