Thousands took to the streets of Bratislava on Friday, to hold a march in honour of murdered journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kusnirova, one day ahead of their planned wedding date. Thousands marched through the streets of the Slovak capital, as demonstrations were also held in several cities across the country. Many participants took the stage to speak and recite poetry in honour... Еще of the murdered couple. The march dubbed 'On the eve of the wedding' comes after a string of demonstrations following the murders. The political crisis sparked by the killings has already resulted in the resignation of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico and Interior Minister Robert Kalinak. Kuciak and Kusnirova were found shot dead on February 25. Kuciak had been investigating alleged relationships between the Italian mafia and people working in Fico's office. Slovaks are claiming the government has failed to tackle corruption previously and now demand a serious reconstruction.
