Around 25,000 people marched through Bratislava on Friday to pay respect to murdered investigative journalist Jan Kuciak, his fiancée Martina Kusnirova and protest against the government. Protesters were angry at the new government of Peter Pellegrini, saying that there was no real change in the government and new ministers are just puppets of former Prime Minister Robert Fico. Protests took... Еще place in 30 other towns across Slovakia and also abroad. After the silent march and lighting candles in front of a portrait of the murdered couple, part of the protesters marched with banners and national flags to Slovak parliament demanding new elections. Kuciak and Kusnirova were found dead on February 25. Kuciak had been investigating relationships between the Italian mafia and people working in Fico’s office.
