Members of the Russian men's national ice hockey team visited Bratislava Castle on Thursday.
The Red Machine's delegation decided to go sightseeing on their day off, following their 10-0 victory against Italy.
An excursion to Bratislava's best preserved castle was offered to the Russian team members by organisers of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.
The Speaker of the Slovakian... Еще Parliament Andrej Danko welcomed the Russian hockey team's delegation at Bratislava Castle and wished them well in the tournament. Andrei Vasilevskiy, one of the Russian team's goalkeepers, in return presented a team jersey signed by his teammates to Danko.
After four victories in the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia, Ilya Vorobyov's squad currently tops Group B. Russia will play its next match against Latvia on May 18, followed by Switzerland on May 19 and will take on defending World Champions Sweden in the final preliminary round clash on May 21.
