Police were working at the scene of a school stabbing attack in Vrutky in northern Slovakia on Thursday after the attacker was shot dead.
Footage shows police and forensic teams working at the scene as well as the attacker's body lying on the ground.
Police identified the attacker as a 22-year old former student of the school, who appeared to have 'mental problems', according to Milan Lucansky, Bratislava police chief.
The attacker broke into the school with a knife on Wednesday, deadly wounded the deputy director and injured the caretaker.
«Then he ran to the nearest classroom, where he attacked a teacher and two children, and then tried to escape,» said Lucansky.
Vrutky major Branislav Zacharides stressed that there was a need to improve security measures at schools as the incident was the first violent attack of its kind in the country.
