Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Belgrade on Saturday, calling on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to step down, as the large-scale anti-government protests enter their 20th week.
The protest was organised by the opposition coalition 'Alliance for Serbia', which is an umbrella term for various opposition parties from all sides of the political spectrum.
The protesters gathered in... Еще front of parliament before marching to the Serbian government offices, then back to the parliament again, where a stage was set up and various people took turns to address the crowd. One of them was Bosko Obradovic, leader of the Dveri Party.
«This is the image of a united opposition, regardless of our ideological and political differences. All as one against this criminal and treacherous government,» said Obradovic.
The anti-government protests kicked off in December and were triggered by an attack on opposition leader Borko Stefanovic in November in the city of Krusevac.
