Crowds flocked to the Adria Tour 2020 venue in Belgrade on Saturday, as the charity tennis tournament organised by the Novak Djokovic Foundation, got underway, featuring professional players such as Djokovic himself, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov, and Aleksandar Zverev.
Following the opening round of the tournament in Belgrade, on June 13, the Adria tour will move to Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The tournament is expected to last until July 5.
The matches are due to be played in tournament format with two groups of four players each playing against each other. Mix doubles and doubles will be played. To take a set, a player will need to win four games instead of the usual six.
The full list of players will include: Novak Djokovic, Dominik Thiem, Aleksandar Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric, Marin Cilic, Dusan Lajovic, Viktor Troicki and Filip Krajinovic.
