Thousands of demonstrators clashed with riot police in Belgrade for the second night in a row on Wednesday during anti-government protests sparked by coronavirus measures.
Protesters began gathering in front of the National Assembly where some threw projectiles at riot police who replied with tear gas.
Demonstrators were heard chanting slogans against President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, setting garbage bins on fire.
Several protesters and police officers were injured in clashes, with some of the demonstrators arrested.
An announcement made earlier this week by Vucic about implementing a curfew to curb the spread of the coronavirus triggered mass protests in the Serbian capital with Vucic deciding to back down on his decision.
