Kosovan Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said he was not informed of the arrest of six Turkish citizens, believed to be supporters of US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, speaking in the Kosovan parliament in Pristina on Friday. «I demanded the resignation of the Minister of Interior Flamur Sefaj, because this happened in one of the sub-sectors of his department, and the one who initiated this, the... Еще head of AKI [Kosovo Intelligence Agency], Driton Gashi,» said Ramush. Meanwhile, the lawyer of the arrested Turkish citizens said, «they were detained and after the detention no information was given to us as lawyers of our clients, neither to the family members. All this process was very hidden from everyone and also followed some things that really made us doubt in the functionality of our state.» Six Turkish citizens, who were working in Kosovo as teachers in private Turkish schools, were arrested on Thursday. Since the failed coup of 2016, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been urging Balkan countries to deport suspected Gulenist supporters.
