Serbia: Refugees camp out near Sid demanding to be allowed into Croatia

Around 150 refugees and migrants gathered some 300 metres (984 feet) from the Serbia-Croatia border, near Sid, calling on Croatian authorities to let them in, Tuesday. Migrants, including many women and children, lit campfires to keep themselves warm as temperatures dropped as night fell. The Spanish non-governmental organisation 'No Name Kitchen' provided migrants with tents, food and power... Еще generators. One refugee from Iran said that «we have a very difficult situation here. It's freezing. There is no food, no water. Nobody comes, nobody cares, but we still exist. We are here.» He went on to urge activists o «do something,» saying, «I've seen sick people here. Sick children. In this weather, in these tents. Children are supposed to sleep. If you, guys, believe in humanity, or if you think you can do something, just do it. Don't wait till it's too late. Do something.»
