Hundreds of protesters demonstrated in front of Serbia's House of the National Assembly on Sunday, marking the sixth straight day of protests in the capital.
«I am protesting versus dictatorship of Aleksandar Vucic and his false elections. He made a total scam of the elections, and we do not agree because we are democratic state and we protest the simple fact he stole the elections,» said Aleksa, a participant.
Demonstrations outside of the governmental building began last Tuesday after the country's president, Aleksandar Vucic, announced plans to impose a weekend curfew due to a rise in coronavirus infections. Though the proposed measures have since been cancelled, anti-government sentiment has persisted.
Vucic's party recently scored 191 of the country's 250 parliamentary seats at elections in June, while the country's main opposing coalition, Alliance for Serbia, boycotted the vote.
