Ana Brnabic, Serbian Prime Minister and first openly gay person of that position, joined citizens in celebrating gay pride during Belgrade's Pride Parade, Sunday. This marks the first time a Serbian Prime Minister has attended the LGBT march. Aside from Brnabic, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zoran Djordjevic, Minister of Public Administration Branko Ruzic and Mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali... Еще were in attendance at the event. Serbia's first Pride march in 2001 was disrupted by violence from far rights protesters who attacked participants in the march. In 2010 the parade resumed but several thousand anti-LGBT protesters clashed with police, resulting in a three year ban of the parade. Since 2014, the parade has run without incidents.
