Twins and triplets from all over France travelled to the village of Pleucadeuc, in the French region of Brittany, on Thursday for the annual twins' festival, celebrating all numbers of identical siblings, although those without a twin are also welcome.
Double-vision inducing footage shows twins taking part in various activities at the festival, including dancing and competing in a sack race... Еще.
Pleucadeuc, some 90 km (55 mi) north-west of Nantes, has hosted the twin festival for 26 years. The village's annual party originally had an aviation theme until new regulations banned take-offs and landings on the festival grounds in 1994. One of the organisers, Alain Launay, the father of twin girls, came up with the idea to rebrand the event as a gathering for 'two and more identical siblings'.
