Russia: Zakharova responds to UK's accusations on Skripal poisoning case

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on British Prime Minister Theresa May announcing measures against Russia in response to the attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal, speaking from Moscow at Rossiya 1 evening programme, Wednesday. Zakharova said that «there was a hope that some of them [British politicians] would get experts, their own, whom they had already... Еще cornered, but they would still ask as it usually happens within the international law, but no». She joked about the Royal Family not coming to Russia, saying: «I do not know how you will go through this, guys, but you have to be strong. The members of the royal family will not come to us.» British Prime Minister Theresa May recently announced the expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats from the UK during a statement to the House of Commons. May also made it clear that the Royal Family and UK government ministers will not attend the World Cup in Russia. Courtesy: Rossiya 1
