Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a military parade at the Vostok-2018 drills in Trans-Baikal Region on Thursday. Around 300,000 troops, 1,000 aircraft, 36,000 armoured vehicles, and 80 vessels are to take part in the war games, according to the Ministry of Defence. They will be joined by around 3,500 personnel from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
