Russia: Veselnitskaya sceptical of «unnamed sources and unverified info» used in Trump-Russia investigation

«Why did these unnamed sources and unverified information all of a sudden become the subject of the investigation carried out by four or five government bodies in the United States,» wondered Russian Lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya during an interview in Moscow on Friday referring to newly-released information on the Trump-Russia dossier. «Not only they spend great manpower resources on this... Еще investigation, distract so many politicians from urgent matters,» she continued, adding «a huge amount of taxpayers' money is spent while trying to figure out anything but the sources [of this information].» Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya came to the world's attention after her meeting with Donald Trump's son, which some have used to point to alleged Russian 'meddling' during the 2016 US Presidential election. Veselnitskaya herself had previously asserted that the meeting was «fleeting and inconsequential.» «From the moment I submitted my answers to the 174 questions,» Veselnitskaya said about her statement, «they still have not shown any interest in continuing the dialogue with me. What does it mean I do not know. I suppose they know all the answers I could give so it is not beneficial for them.»
