Russia: Three-decker ship goes down in flames on Moskva River

A massive fire broke out on a three-decker motor ship moored on Moskva River in the Russian capital of Moscow on Thursday. No further information regarding casualties has been reported, but the fire was extinguished at 23:32 local time (21:32 GMT) at a mooring on the Nagatinskaya embankment. According to EMERCOM «in order to provide water, the fire and rescue units installed a pumping... Еще station on an open reservoir and made a hole in the ice. A pump was installed and water was supplied from the hydrant located one and a half kilometres [one mile] away.» The three-deck walking motor ship 'Nereus' was reportedly built in 1963.
