The second stage of the Zapad-2017 Russian-Belarussian joint strategic-level military drills took place at the Luzhsky range in Leningrad Region, Monday.

NATO and neighbouring countries raised concerns over the safety of the exercises last week, but have said that the drills do not pose any imminent threat to the surrounding nations, while 90 observers from 60 different countries were also invited to spectate.
