A Russian woman suffered 'very light injuries' as a result of Thursday's terror attack in Barcelona, according to Rosturism's Head of Press, who was speaking from Moscow, on Friday.
Evgeny Gayv, speaking via telephone, confirmed that the woman did not need to be hospitalised, although she was attended to by medical personnel on Las Ramblas.
“According to the information available at the moment... Еще, one Russian woman was on the site of this terrorist attack and received very light injuries — scratches and grazes. She was provided with medical assistance at the scene of the accident. She did not need to be hospitalised,» Gayv said.
On Thursday evening, a van drove into crowds on Las Ramblas, a popular tourist hotspot in Barcelona. At least 13 people were killed and more than a 100 were injured. Police have detained two suspects, although the driver of the van is yet to be found.
