Russia: Russian Communist Party rallies in support of N. Korea

Members of the Russian Communist Party held a rally in support of North Korea and against what they see as aggressive US policies towards Pyongyang, in Novosibirsk on Friday. Protesters held DPRK flags, portraits of the DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, posters with Pyongyang's views, as well as banners such as «USA, stop aggression»; «Yankees, hands off North Korea»; «We will defend Korea, as in 1953... Еще.» Sergei Sukhorukov, Deputy of the Deputies Council said: «Today we are against such attacks on the independent North Korean government. It's one of few truly independent countries, that don't depend on American politics, that are even not the part of the world's financial system, and live in their own world. This is true, real socialism.» Vasiliy, a participant, said: «[We are] here to protect it [North Korea] with the help of rallies and things like that, to voice claims to the US, that try to get in every hole, in every country in the world. That's why I'm for such demostrations, for the support ,to show that there are people in Russia who support the people of North Korea.»
