Magnitogorsk city hospital doctor Viktoria Boyko stated that the child was conscious when he arrived at the facility and was taken to an operating room. The baby remains in a grave condition.
Ivan’s mother Olga Fokina survived the building collapse. She is travelling with her baby on his way to Moscow. His father Evgeni Fokin was not at home when the building collapsed. He saw Ivan off at the airport.
