Khalid al-Falih congratulated the Russian president on launching the plant and replied positively to Putin’s suggestion saying, «That's why I am here.» According to Putin, energy cooperation between the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia will turn both countries from competitors into partners. «Everybody will benefit from this joint work», he added. As Saudi Arabia's energy minister Khalid al-Falih noted, the two countries have already changed «the world energy scene» through working together.
