Russia: Putin sings praises for Far East's flourishing investment climate

Putin sang praises for Russia's Far East investment climate, saying that it «represents a unique combination of opportunities and competitive advantages» during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Thursday. Russian leader also promised «a ten-year grace on payment of insurance premiums» for «any investor who has become a resident of the territory of advanced... Еще development or free port of Vladivostok, until 2025». Putin concluded by saying, «for foreign investors who invest 10 or more than 10 million dollars in the Far East, it is proposed to consider a simplified procedure for granting Russian citizenship». The session was also attended by the Japanese Premier Minister Shinzo Abe, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga.
