Russia: Putin honours MoDs for Defenders of the Fatherland Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the Ministers of Defence from several countries to honour the upcoming Defenders of the Fatherland Day in the Kremlin, Moscow on Thursday. «You like nobody else understand how careful one needs to be with it [weapons, army and power structure of the government] and how the trust is greatly appreciated in such a sensitive area like military... Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoygu was present at the ceremony alongside heads and deputies from Armenia, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Mongolia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated on February 23, marking the first mass draft into the Red Army during the Russian Civil War and is celebrated by Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
