Russia: Putin holds Security Council meeting as delegation returns from Pyongyang

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Russian Security Council in moscow, Friday, after a Russian delegation visited Pyongyang for talks with the North Korean leadership. On Wednesday, North Korea announced the launch of a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) which could «target the entire area of mainland United States.» The launch was the first since September 15, when North Korea fired a ballistic missile over the Japanese island Hokkaido, which eventually fell into the Pacific Ocean.
