Russia: Porcelain factory fires up its kilns for World Cup 2018

Russia's famous Dulevo porcelain factory in the Moscow Region fired up its newly-upgraded kilns to produce dozens of porcelain souvenirs, including miniature trophies, for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, as shown in footage shot on Thursday. The company expects to sell over 500,000 World Cup porcelain souvenirs, which include branded mascots, teapots, teacups and ornamental plates... Еще. «Regarding the trophy, when we were given rights to it,» Dulevo Porcelain Director Petr Sivov said, «they [FIFA] had doubts to begin with, but said 'we'll let you make it from porcelain because no one has done it before, you're the first.'» Founded in 1832, the porcelain factory is the largest in Russia and won the right to produce official World Cup branded merchandise earlier this year.
