Russia: Oil production agreements fully implemented by Russia — Putin

SOT, John Fraher (English): «Everyone in this room of course like the stability, everyone in markets like stability, if you were to continue and to decide to continue production cuts, would you see this extension to last until the end of the next year?» SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): «I told him [John Fraher] that we don't know yet if we extend [the agreement] or not but he... Еще already asks me till what time would we extend it. When we decide whether we do that or not, but generally speaking if we consider the extension, we will take it into account until the end of 2018.» Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia has fully implemented oil production agreements, speaking at the Russian Energy Week plenary session 'Energy for Global Growth', in Moscow, Wednesday. «Russia took commitment to reduce 300,000 barrells daily, we did that and continue to do so,» underlined Putin. Answering a question of the US journalist John Fraher about an extension of the agreement, Putin said it was important to see the world energy balance on March 2018. «When we decide whether we do that or not, but generally speaking if we consider the extension, we will take it into account until the end of 2018,» explained Putin.
