Russia: 'My mom can't stop crying' — locals react to Magnitogorsk tragedy

A girl who also came to the vigil named at least four people she knew who were supposed to be inside the building at the moment it collapsed. «Our relatives' grandmother died here. At about 06:00 local time (01:00 GMT) on Monday, an entire section of a 10-storey tower block in Magnitogorsk collapsed, causing dozens to be trapped under debris in freezing conditions. According to EMERCOM, 50 people were at the section at the time it collapsed, 28 are confirmed dead, including babies. 100 EMERCOM WORKERS are to keep clearing the debris overnight.
