Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping hold a joint press-conference at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok on Tuesday. Discussing the situation on the Korean Peninsula, the Russian leader stated that Moscow and Beijing will continue “to resolve the situation on the Korean Peninsula in accordance with the Russian-Chinese road map”. “The important... The Chinese president, in his turn, praised the rapid development of the Sino-Russian relations. “[Our relations] have entered a new era of accelerated development and continue to grow. Both sides provided a mutual support in choosing a road of development that responds to the national circumstances of every country, and providing security for development goals,” he added. The EEF, which has been held on an annual basis since 2015, works as a forum to develop political, economic and cultural ties between Russia and the Asia Pacific.
