Russia: Moscovites gather to remember victims of Great Purge

Dozens of Moscovites flocked to the centre of Moscow on Sunday to take part in a commemoration ceremony of those who suffered during the Great Purge in the late 1930s. The 'Name's Return' ceremony took place on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions at Solovetski Stone on Lubyanka's Square. People attended the memorial with flowers and candles to read names... Еще and short biographies of those who suffered persecution and oppression. This is the 10th time the event has been held and comes a day ahead of the opening of the Wall of Sorrow in Moscow.
