Russia: MoD releases footage of new hardware for V-Day parade

The Russian Ministry of Defence released footage on Monday showing the Korsar drone, the BMPT Terminator armoured fighting vehicle as well as the remotely-controlled Uran-6 sapper tank being tested in an undisclosed location. Korsar is an all-weather drone designed for surveillance, real-time target acquisition, battle damage assessment and the delivery of light cargoes to ground forces. The... Еще new Terminator armoured fighting vehicle comes with four Ataka anti-tank missile launchers, two 30mm autocannons, two grenade launchers and a coaxial 7.62 machine gun. It has already been deployed in Syria. The unmanned Uran-6 mine-clearing tank is designed to reduce personnel losses. According to the MoD, the Uran-6 has been already used in Syria in situations including the demining of Palmyra and Aleppo. All of the new military vehicles are to take part in the upcoming Victory Day parade in Moscow. The Victory Parade will take place on May 9 to mark the 73rd anniversary of the capitulation of Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union at the end of the World War II.
