Russia: Lavrov writes condolences for Barcelona attack victims at Spanish embassy

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visited the Spanish embassy in Moscow to write a message of condolence in the wake of Thursday's terror attack in Barcelona, Monday. At least 14 people were killed and over 100 injured after a van was driven through crowds at the popular tourist hotspot of Las Ramblas in the Catalan capital. Lavrov was joined by the Spanish ambassador to Russia, Ignacio... Еще Ybanez Rubio, as he wrote a message in the book of condolences. Reportedly, the Foreign Minister stressed the importance of a common effort in the fight against terrorism. «Russia, knowing first-hand the true face of terrorism, has consistently supported a universal format to combat this evil.
