Press Secretary of the Russian president Dmitri Peskov stated in Moscow on Thursday that the Kremlin could not confirm the credibility of a joint report published by Bellingcat and the Insider, which claims to reveal the true identity of a Russian man the UK says is the suspect of the nerve-agent attack on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. The report states that man the... Еще UK police initially identified as Ruslan Boshriov is actually Colonel Anatoliy Chepiga. Commenting on the real identity of one of the men allegedly uncovered by Bellingcat and the Insider, the press secretary stated that many people look alike, adding that he does not possess any information about colonel Anatoliy Chepiga who the authors of the report claim to be a real name of Ruslan Boshirov. “When it comes to soldiers, I think you should ask our Defence Ministry about them,” he said when asked to confirm the claim that colonel Anatoliy Chepiga was allegedly awarded Russia’s highest military award by the Russian president. Peskov stressed that the Kremlin does not know anything about the past of Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov.
