Russia: ISS Expedition 61/62 hold pre-flight press conference

International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 61/62 main and back up crews held pre-flight press conference in Star City on Thursday. The main crew is comprised of Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skrypochka, US astronaut Jessica Meir and United Arab Emirates' astronaut Hazza al-Mansuri, who will be the first ever Emirati astronaut on the ISS. «First of all I'm really proud to present my country the United... NASA's Jessica Meir stated that the crew is ready for the launch. «It does sound like it will be very busy increment with lots of spacewalks, lots of scientific experiments but that's what we are ready for. We very excited to make good use of our time on the space station,» said the American astronaut. The expedition's commander, cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, said that so far one spacewalk has been planned for the crew. The expedition is scheduled to lauch to the ISS from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on September 25.
