Russia's ruling political party United Russia held a meeting with Mikhail Mishustin, the prime ministerial candidate, in Moscow on Thursday ahead of a plenary vote on the new PM.
Mishustin stated that if appointed, his main task would be the implementation of institutional reforms, the removal of restrictions for businesses and the introduction of 'Digital Economy' project.

The State Duma is currently holding a plenary session, during which the 53-year-old Mishutin’s candidacy will be formally reviewed.
