Russia: Interior Minister unveils Intl. Police Cooperation Centre ahead of WC

Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the opening of the International Police Cooperation Centre in Moscow Region's Domodedovo on Tuesday. The centre is set to serve as a temporary management body aimed at facilitating cooperation with foreign police to prevent potential offences during the upcoming World Cup. According to... Еще Kolokoltsev, «the main objective of cooperation is to reduce to a minimum offences [carried out] by [football] fans in the regions, where the matches will be held.» The centre will operate throughout the 2018 World Cup.
