Russia: FIFA visits Saransk stadium under construction for World Cup 2018

A joint delegation of FIFA and Local Organizing Committee Russia-2018 (LOC) arrived in Saransk to inspect the readiness of the Mordovia Arena football stadium in the run-up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Friday. The delegation came to Saransk on the sixth operational visit aimed at inspecting stadiums in the run-up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. From September 26 to October 5, the delegation is to visit sport arenas located in eight cities across Russia, which are hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches. The cities are Moscow, Kaliningrad, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Saransk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd.
