The delegation came to Saransk on the sixth operational visit aimed at inspecting stadiums in the run-up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. From September 26 to October 5, the delegation is to visit sport arenas located in eight cities across Russia, which are hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches. The cities are Moscow, Kaliningrad, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Saransk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd.
