Russia: FAN ID centre opens in St Petersburg as Euro 2020 countdown starts

The handing out ceremony of the first FAN ID passports for the Euro 2020 took place in St Petersburg on Tuesday, with 192 days to go before the tournament kicks off. The opening ceremony was attended by FC Zenit striker and Russian national team captain Artem Dzyuba and former footballers Alexander Kerzhakov and Vyacheslav Malafeev. Russia’s northern capital will host three group stage matches... Еще and a quarterfinal in the tournament, with all four games to be played at the Gazprom Arena. The Euro 2020 tournament will be held from June 12 to July 12.
