Russia: Eyewitnesses recount Moscow radio station stabbing

Eyewitnesses have described the moment an attacker stabbed radio host Tatiana Felgenhauer in the neck in Moscow on Monday. The assailant, who claims he was being sexually tormented by telepathy, attacked the entrance security guard with pepper spray and slashed the hand of another. Olga Bychkova, station employee, said: “This man came running to her. I didn’t understand at first, I thought he... Еще was going to hug her. Then I saw the blood.” Echo of Moscow Editor-in-Chief Aleksey Venediktov said: “The assailant didn’t scream when he was stabbing her.” The attacker reportedly stated that Felgengauer had been “sexually harassing” him, adding “each night, she was getting [into my head] and sexually tormenting me via telepathy». Felgengauer, 32, was taken to the Sklifosovsky Emergency Medical Care Research Institute. Police are treating the case as attempted murder.
