Russia: Ex-economy minister Ulyukayev appears in Moscow court for graft trial

The former economic minister’s next hearing is scheduled for September 1. Ulyukayev was arrested in November 2016 by the officers from the Russian Investigative Committee on suspicion of accepting a $2 million (€1,695,740) bribe as part of a ministry deal regarding Rosneft's takeover of major regional oil company Bashneft.
